Grit at work is fierce resilience. Leaders and teams owning
change, facing the hard sh*t head-on, and rising together
Take the test.
is your high-performance culture breaking down?
Your team is in a GRIT DEFICIT if:
Your team is exhausted with the “more with less” mentality.
Your team hits their numbers and KPIs but morale keeps dropping.
There is a sense of overwhelm and “change fatigue” from the workforce.
Employee engagement scores keep dropping.
Resentment and frustration are brewing between functional partners.
The leader feels more like a therapist than a people manager.
Employee engagement scores keep dropping.
You spend more time managing emotions than pipeline.
You keep hiring for grit but don’t teach people how to build it.
The Grit Mindset Method
A 3-part workshop series for tech companies to create gritty, high-performing cultures without burnout or cross-functional friction.
-
Understand stress responses (gossiping, eating chocolate, procrastination) build emotional awareness & regulation under pressure so the people leader no longer has to moonlight as a therapist.
-
Stay empowered and fully own your success, career trajectory, and internal relationships with stakeholders, especially in harsh economic climates.
-
Create strong internal and external partnerships through open, direct dialogue.

The Grit Mindset Method is Ideal for:
Teams navigating rapid change, restructuring, or role ambiguity
High performing teams and orgs who are burning out or silently struggling
Leaders or ICs seeking more self-awareness, confidence, and career clarity
Organizations invested in long-term mindset and culture transformation
Phase 1: emotional Intelligence
The Inner Work of Change
The Inner Work of Change is a practical, psychology-informed workshop designed to help high achievers lead themselves more effectively through uncertainty, pressure, and intense organizational change.
The session is built around Martha Beck’s Four Categories of Human Experience (circumstances, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors), to help increase self-awareness, shift reactive patterns, and build more resilient, values-aligned responses to day-to-day stressors so that the people leader can be more of a manager and less of a therapist.
Participants will Walk away with:
A clear, repeatable method to manage stress and build resilience effectively.
Increased self-awareness about typical reactions (gossip, going for the chocolate, procrastination) to workplace frustrations.
Practical reframing skills you can apply immediately to common leadership challenges (e.g., burnout, workload pressure, boundary-setting).
Building proactive behaviors that increase resilience, clarity, and influence.
Phase 2: Ownership Mindset
Take Back the Power in Your Career
The Ownership Mindset masterclass addresses common symptoms that arise when teams struggle to adapt to ongoing change in tech, including blame-shifting, stakeholder friction, and feelings of frustration or powerlessness.
By understanding and flipping Karpman’s Drama Triangle into The Empowerment Dynamic, participants will learn practical methods to shift from reactive negativity toward proactive collaboration, clarity, and accountability.
Participants will Walk away with:
A clear understanding of reactive patterns and how these show up in stakeholder dynamics, including conflict, blame, people-pleasing, and avoidance.
Practical ways to overcome peer and stakeholder tension without over-functioning, rescuing, or blaming.
Stronger cross-functional collaboration with reduced friction and defensiveness.
Phase 3: Powerful & Direct Communication
At this stage, the team feels empowered and ready to rumble. However, there has been a history of people bumping up against one another. Maybe there’s peer tension that’s led to quiet resentment, awkward Slack threads, or even burnout. Maybe career conversations are happening too late (or not at all) because no one really knows how to communicate what they want or need.
This workshop gives your team the practical skills to speak up without blowing things up. It’s ideal for teams experiencing friction across functions (Sales, CSM, Ops, etc.) who need to reset, communicate clearly, and rebuild strong working relationships.
Participants will Walk away with:
A way to reset relationships that have gone to sh*t, without blaming, fixing, or sugarcoating.
A shared language for expressing frustration and finding solutions in a way that moves the relationship forward.
Two simple, repeatable communication frameworks for when you're stuck, triggered, or avoiding a conversation.
